It’s Tough
Taint Eeasy
Making your first feature is no easy feat and one of the hardest things is relinquishing control and letting somebody else to the work for you. the idea is that this will take the presure off of you. In this instance I’m not sure the pressure is off as I really want to see what is happening all the time. I’m sure as time moves on I’ll get better as I get to see how good other people can be at taking the pressure off on the business side of things so that I can be truley creative.
Chicken or the Egg?
Yup that’s where we are at the moment. It is I suspect the hardest part of the process, the film will happen but something needs to break first then we are in the whole snowball situation, where time will just seam to run out all to quickly.
Mentoring
And just lately I’ve been thanking my lucky stars that I’m fortunate to have so many mentors, all there kind helps is just starting to pay off. This weekend we start a compleate dialog re-write because of one of them, who I doubt is wrong, so the bank holiday weekend is now taken up.
